A Sweet Treat for Hamlin: Cake Sales Making a Difference
The support of dedicated fundraisers across the UK makes a huge difference to our work and the lives of women in need in Ethiopia.
From hosting talks and coffee mornings to running marathons, dedicated fundraisers across the UK are raising vital funds from their communities to help End Fistula.
We were delighted to hear from 12-year-old Emily, pictured, and her mum last month to tell us about the fantastic charity cake sale Emily held.

Emily put up posters around her village to promote the sale and got busy in the kitchen whizzing up an array of delicious treats to sell in aid of Hamlin Fistula UK, including carrot cake, chocolate brownies and cookies. Emily raised a fantastic £300 and we are so grateful.
It was the great Catherine Hamlin herself that inspired Emily into action, to raise awareness of Hamlin and funds for our work. During the sale Emily said she enjoyed telling her customers about Catherine Hamlin and the work our charity does today.
✨THANK YOU Emily! ✨
