Watch the recording of our first special 45-minute lunchtime webinar event where we celebrated Hamlin’s achievements for women in Ethiopia over the past year and shared our ambitious plans for the year ahead.
Helen Marriott, our CEO, and Hewete Haileselassie, a dedicated Hamlin Fistula UK trustee, led a lively discussion on the transformative impact our supporters donations have had over the past year, from supporting survivors to gain new livelihoods skills, to delivering more surgeries than ever.
Audience members heard about Hamlin’s innovative women’s maternal health initiatives, including Project Zero, our ground-breaking programme aimed at ending fistula in Ethiopia once and for all. Hanna Tesfaye, Project Zero Programme Manager, joined us live from our headquarters in Ethiopia to share inspiring stories from the field and answer questions from the audience.
We were also thrilled to welcome our Patron, Baroness Tessa Blackstone, who makes a special introduction.
We were delighted to welcome so many Hamlin supporters online from across the world, including the UK and Ethiopia to watch the event.
